Open Letter from Cindy Sheehan's Family

I missed this back in August:

A letter sent to the Drudge Report by Cherie Quarterolo, Casey's aunt and godmother, the family states:

"Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks, Cherie
In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford, Texas, issue: Sheehan family statement:

The Sheehan family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan family supports the troops, our country, and our president, silently, with prayer and respect.

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins."

So, why was it that she was arrested at the SOTU speech and the other tee shirt wearing "protestor" wasn't?

Because Cindy refused to leave the property after refusing to abide by the dress code, while the other person didn't make a big deal out of it, and simply left in a civil fashion when asked to do so by security?

But would I have arrested Cindy, or either of them? No. That was ridiculous of police to arrest her.

And this wasn't a power-play by the President, it was the Capitol police. I almost wish the would have left her there, to make a fool of herself and the Democratic Party before the world. Welcome Marc!
